Engineers Week 2009 is rapidly approaching. The Northeast Florida Engineers Week 2009 Committee has an array of activities planned that we believe will appeal to both students and professionals.

Revision Date: 13 February 2009 Engineers Week will commence on Friday, February 13th with the Kick-Off Luncheon and culminate on Saturday, February 21rd with the Awards Banquet. Founded in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers, Engineers Week is celebrated annually by thousands of engineers, engineering  students, teachers, and leaders in government and business. In 1988, the National Engineers Week consortium expanded its scope and now includes more than 100 engineering, scientific, and educational societies and major corporations dedicated to enhancing the public understanding of the engineering profession and to promoting precollege interest in math, science, and engineering as a career option.
